In pain? Call us first thing.

A few emergency slots are held back every weekday morning for exactly this. Call as early as you can and the front desk will find the earliest one.

What it is

Emergency care

Toothache, a broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, a knocked-out tooth — the sooner we see it, the simpler it usually is. Each weekday morning a few slots are kept free for emergencies, and they go to whoever calls first.

Out of hours, the line is answered and a message reaches the team, who call back first thing. If you have trouble breathing or swallowing, or the swelling is spreading, call 911 or go straight to an emergency room — do not wait for us.

  • Emergency slots held back every weekday morning
  • Broken teeth, lost fillings and crowns, toothache
  • A knocked-out tooth: keep it moist and call at once
  • Clear guidance on when to go to the ER instead

What to expect

Three steps, no surprises.

  1. Call

    (317) 555-0188. Say it is an emergency and the front desk finds the earliest held-back slot.

  2. Same-visit relief

The dentist examines the tooth, takes an X-ray if needed, and deals with the pain first.

  3. The plan

Anything beyond first aid gets a written plan and price, and a follow-up appointment if it needs one.

Common questions

Things people ask.

What counts as an emergency? +

Pain that keeps you up, a broken or knocked-out tooth, swelling, a lost crown or filling. If in doubt, call and describe it — the front desk will tell you.

What if it happens at night? +

Leave a message; the team calls back first thing in the morning. Trouble breathing or swallowing, or spreading swelling, is a 911 or emergency-room call.

Will you see me if I am not a patient? +

Yes. Emergency slots are not limited to existing patients.

Call us as early as you can.

The held-back morning slots go to whoever calls first. Booking online works too, for anything that can wait until the next open day.
