✦WHERE THE NUMBER COMES FROM

One multiplication. Nothing hidden inside it.

Most calculators like this one are a sales pitch wearing a spreadsheet. This one prints its own working under the big number so you can check it on the back of an envelope.

01

The formula, in words

Missed calls per week, times fifty-two weeks, times the share of those callers who would have booked, times what a new patient is worth to you in their first year. That is the whole calculation. Nothing is weighted, nothing is compounded, and the line under the figure prints the exact multiplication as you move the sliders.

02

Why the defaults are assumptions, not statistics

The sliders start at ten calls, thirty per cent and twelve hundred dollars because those are round numbers that make the page readable before you touch it — not because we measured them anywhere. This site publishes no invented figures. Set all three to your own call log and your own fee schedule; the answer is only worth what you put in.

03

How to count yours

Pull last month's log from your phone system and count the calls that rang out or hit voicemail — at lunch, after five, on Friday afternoons, and while the desk was already on another line. Divide by the weeks. We wrote up the exact method, and what to do with the number: the after-hours gap →

→WATCH ONE MISSED CALL

What happens to a missed call at 7:42 pm.

The thread below plays in real time, the way the patient reads it — thumb on the screen, seconds after your line rang out. This is the missed-call agent at work: one text, in wording you approved, and the conversation continues in writing. It is one of the optional AI agents we build; it says what it is when asked, never gives clinical advice, and a person takes the thread over in the morning.

A fictional thread with an invented patient and invented times, but the message, the timing and the order are the ones we build. *Whether it can run on your line depends on your phone setup — confirmed on the discovery call, never assumed.

→THREE FIXES, IN ORDER · STARTING PRICES

Cheapest first. Each one is a floor, in writing.

The number above is a leak with three plugs, and they are worth fitting in this order: catch the caller you just missed, give the evening caller somewhere to go that is not a phone, then make sure the patient who did book actually turns up. Every price on this page is the same published floor you will find on the service page itself.

Flat, quoted in writing after the discovery call. Month to month, no minimum term, everything stays yours. Every service, with its price →

✕WHAT WE WILL NOT CLAIM

The things we will not say to win the work.

Each of these is a line another agency will happily cross. Here is where we stand on it, in writing.

  • A benchmark, average or statistic that is not yours. The sliders are your numbers, nothing else.
  • Guaranteed rankings, appointments or revenue.Nobody can honestly promise what Google or a patient will do. We guarantee the work, and you watch what moved month by month.
  • A proprietary dental platform. We build on tools you could run without us, and everything we build is yours.
  • Universal PMS or EHR integration.Integrations are possible with any practice system that exposes an API — we confirm yours on the discovery call. Here is what each system publishes today.
  • AI insurance verification or treatment-plan mining. No agent of ours reads a chart, checks a policy or suggests treatment.
  • “SOC 2” or “HIPAA compliant” as a badge. Our infrastructure runs on Google Workspace and Google Cloud under signed Business Associate Agreements. We do not call that HIPAA compliance, because no vendor honestly can.
  • Clinical or diagnostic AI.Every agent refuses clinical questions and hands to a person.
  • A client quote without written permission. The practice we photograph is credited; nothing anyone said appears here until they say in writing that it may.
  • An invented statistic.Every figure on this site is either counted from what we run, or carries the source it came from.

✦WHAT THIS PAGE KNOWS ABOUT YOU

This page multiplies your three numbers. It has no data about your practice and claims none. If you want findings that are actually about you — where you rank, what your reviews say, whether your phone and booking path work at seven in the evening — that is the free Practice Growth Blueprint, and no sales call is required to get it.

?THE CALCULATOR · GOOD QUESTIONS

Is this real data?+

No. It is your three numbers multiplied together. The defaults are placeholders so the page is readable before you touch a slider; nothing here is a benchmark, an average or a statistic. Where a page on this site shows a figure that is not yours, it carries the source it came from, and the sample it was measured in.

What if my rate is lower?+

Then set it lower. A practice that already answers almost everything, or whose missed callers mostly ring back, should drag the second slider down until it feels honest — the figure shrinks, and that is the right answer. The calculator is for finding out whether the gap is worth fixing, not for making it look big.

Will text-back work with my phones?+

It depends on whether your phone system can hand off a missed call — the provider, the lines, and how calls route when the desk is busy. We find that out before anything is promised, on the discovery call, and if your setup cannot support it we say so and stop there. That asterisk sits next to the service everywhere it is mentioned for exactly this reason.
