✦MEET VERA · AI VOICE AGENT · LIVE DEMO
Vera takes the call you are not there to take.
Seven in the evening, a patient chips a tooth, your line rings out and they call the next practice down the list. An AI receptionist answers instead — she is called Vera, and yours would answer in your practice’s name. On this demo line she is Ivy, and the practice she answers for does not exist. Play the caller below and push her as hard as you like.
→YOU ARE THE CALLER
Try to trip it up.
Ask it something clinical. Ask if it is a real person. Tell it your face is swollen. The answers you get are the actual configured behaviour, not a recording — including the parts where it refuses and hands you to a human.
- It books, takes a message, or escalates. Nothing else.
- It never diagnoses and never quotes a price.
- It says it is an AI the moment anyone asks.
- A real emergency is sent to a person immediately.
Northline Dental is our fictional demo practice. On your line it would know your hours, your dentists and your policies.
A text preview of the voice agent — the same script, the same limits, spoken on a real line. Nothing you type here is stored.
→WHAT WE SET UP FOR YOUR PRACTICE
It only works if it knows your practice.
Your facts
Hours, holidays, each dentist and what they actually do, parking, which insurances you file, and how you handle payment plans. Written down once, answered consistently forever.
Your triage rules
You decide what counts as an emergency, what gets a same-day slot, and what waits until Monday. The agent follows your rules, not a generic script.
Your handoff
Where the message lands, who gets texted, and at what point the caller is told to ring a person instead. Every call arrives as a written summary in the morning.
✦WHERE WE DRAW THE LINE
The honest version of what an AI receptionist is.
An AI receptionist is optional. Plenty of practices should not have one, and we will say so. It exists to stop the calls you were never going to answer from becoming somebody else’s patients — evenings, lunch breaks, and the twenty minutes your front desk is with someone at the counter.
It is always disclosed as an AI. It never gives clinical advice, never assesses urgency itself, and hands anything that sounds serious straight to a person. If a caller asks for a human, it stops and takes a message. Those are not settings you have to remember to switch on.
✦HEAR IT ON A REAL PHONE
Call Ivy. She answers for a practice that does not exist.
Ivy is the AI receptionist for Northline Dental, our fictional demo practice. Ring her from any phone: ask for a cleaning, ask whether she is a person, tell her your face is swollen. She is configured the way yours would be, and she says she is an AI.
→THE CHEAPER FIRST STEP
If you are not sure a voice agent is right yet, missed-call text-back catches the same callers for a fraction of the effort: the phone rings out, they get a text within seconds, and the conversation continues in writing.
How that works →*Works with compatible phone setups — confirmed on your discovery call.
✕WHAT WE WILL NOT CLAIM
The things we will not say to win the work.
Each of these is a line another agency will happily cross. Here is where we stand on it, in writing.
- Clinical advice, urgency assessment, or a price quoted over the phone. The receptionist agent takes the details and hands those three to a person.
- Guaranteed rankings, appointments or revenue.Nobody can honestly promise what Google or a patient will do. We guarantee the work, and you watch what moved month by month.
- A proprietary dental platform. We build on tools you could run without us, and everything we build is yours.
- Universal PMS or EHR integration.Integrations are possible with any practice system that exposes an API — we confirm yours on the discovery call. Here is what each system publishes today.
- AI insurance verification or treatment-plan mining. No agent of ours reads a chart, checks a policy or suggests treatment.
- “SOC 2” or “HIPAA compliant” as a badge. Our infrastructure runs on Google Workspace and Google Cloud under signed Business Associate Agreements. We do not call that HIPAA compliance, because no vendor honestly can.
- Clinical or diagnostic AI.Every agent refuses clinical questions and hands to a person.
- A client quote without written permission. The practice we photograph is credited; nothing anyone said appears here until they say in writing that it may.
- An invented statistic.Every figure on this site is either counted from what we run, or carries the source it came from.
?VOICE AGENTS · GOOD QUESTIONS
Will patients know it is not a person?+
Yes, and deliberately. It introduces itself as the practice's assistant, and if anyone asks directly it says so plainly. Pretending otherwise is the fastest way to lose the patient you were trying to keep.
What happens with a real emergency?+
It stops trying to book and tells the caller to ring the practice directly, or to go to an emergency room if they cannot breathe or swallow. It does not assess how serious anything is, because that is not something it can safely do.
Does it replace my front desk?+
No. It answers when nobody is there to. During opening hours your team picks up as they always have, and the agent's job is the evening, the lunch hour, and the calls that come in while your receptionist is already on the phone.
Can it write into our practice management software?+
That depends entirely on which system you run and what it exposes. We will tell you honestly on the call whether yours can be written to or whether appointments arrive as a message your team enters. We do not claim to integrate with everything.
What does it cost?+
Quoted flat and in writing after the discovery call, once we know your call volume and hours. The free Blueprint comes first either way, and it will tell you whether this is even the right thing to spend money on.
